Lake Sibhayi Special- South Africa

Today I write with Sadness, that the photographs in my entry were not taken by me.

Sadness, because I haven’t been to this fantastic place.  But Warren and Viv have.

😦   However, they are willing to share!

Lake Sibhayi is near Hluhluwe, in Maputaland on the east coast of South Africa.

The coastline near the lake which is part of the Greater St Lucia Wetlands.

Fishing for all.  You can camp, self cater or go for luxury!

Sibhayi is the largest fresh water lake in South Africa.

There are 279 bird species there.

22 species of frogs, and colourful insects like these.
