Feel the Fire Fade

Be it campfire or a dream, a nightmare or more, this flame won’t be ceased

As red and gold it glows.

Remembering the nights, in dark we were together, the flaming glow of peace

Though far apart at night

The warmth would reign supreme, around the fire the spark, love released.

Burn and belong, burn and be strong, burn all night long.

This Fire.

  1. aloha Liz. i like the concept you touch upon with the image as eternal flame. that’s a cool connection (imo) because the image is on a cycle that goes on and on. i like that. aloha.

  2. Oh that fire inside that can never burn out. I adore this. Beautiful, beautiful piece. Thank you. ♥

  3. liz2you says:

Give it my all, that fire will burn.
    Thanks Kellie,

  4. Sherry says:

    Great for letter “F”.

  5. Birgit says:

Feeling all warm and cozy now. 🙂

  6. Pam Beers says:

Cool picture of fire. Actually, I love fire. It’s my sign as well as being one of the most useful things invented by man or woman. Probably a woman, since they did all the cooking way back when Moses was in knickers..

  7. Oh.

What a fantastic piece of writing.

Fanning the fire gets harder as I get older. I always have a flicker of me burning in there, but sometimes I feel like I’m burning down to embers.

    That was deep.

    And depressing.

So I’m going to just stop babbling here and tell you thanks for linking to the letter F.

  8. liz2you says:

    Oh Jenny, don’t be sad!
Yes I had sad thoughts while writing this.
But always have more charcoal and matches…. life prevails, we make a plan!
    Thinking of you..

  9. A beautiful, passionate, always giving inspiration kind of fire. A reminder for all of us to never give up on our dreams and what completes us. Thank you for today’s post. Been trying to get a decent WiFi her in the Philippines so I can check on your posts and to simply say, Thank You for being a great blogger friend. Next Sunday, I’m back to Houston and I will for sure miss so many and be homesick for awhile. All the best to you and family.
