Your Life – Make it Work – 2016

Top landscape

We often say, If I knew what I know now……

If we could have started out with a draft of our lives and managed it carefully would it have turned out any different to where you are today?  Remembering – it was only a draft!

I don’t think so.

How many corners has your life turned so far; and I have the cheek to say, so far!  Things can change, even if change isn’t planned, in the blink of an eye.

I am living in my 27th house, and now, I don’t fret about the things I don’t have any more.  “You need to truely recognise and value of what you do have.”  Each move was for a reason and with each came growth.  Yes it is all about the journey and how we savour every minute and learn along the way.  Keep your eyes open.

“The Begining is always today” said Mary Shelley.

New houses don’t make our lives change and improve, we are responsible for that; it is all down to our stamina, drive and perseverance.  You have to want to improve first.

The same goes for moving into a new year- 2016

Resolutions are not going to make any difference if you don’t make them work because they will improve your life and help you to achieve the things that flash through your dreams at night.

2016 brings new changes for all my family.

Happy New Year to all my readers families ‘ – embrace your changes in 2016 with courage and strength, love what you do and believe in yourself.

Nice piece of writing, Liz. They say we are changing all the time. Guess we are.
We’ve had major changes, marriages, births, divorces, involved with the kids and then grand kids and greats going through similar phases. Our latest is a move across town, still all in Houston subdivisions, 68 miles change.
    Happy New Year !!!

I seldom think in terms of resolutions. I prefer to make goals. You have such a wonderful outlook.

27 houses! You must know how to pack. I thought 7 or 8 houses was a lot. I enjoyed what you wrote…so true.

Yep, I know how to pack but am a hoarder too, so it is a task! I like to manage it like a project. Thanks for visiting! Liz

I am never moving again! You have certainly been a brave woman to move 27 times, and you lived to tell about it. What a trouper!! Great post!!
